Bill had plenty of information about Iraq from his Presidency which ended very shortly before 9/11. Do you really think that if Bush lied to get us into a war Bill would have sat idly by?

Exactly! And why did Hillary vote for it, if it was a lie?

Given the fact that George W. Bush had been “The President of The United States of America” for long enough to have had a baby (about 9 months) by 9/11/01 – and longer – much longer than that, by the time we invaded Iraq, “Bill” was / is an irrelevant player in the “Game” we like to call “American Politics”, by that time.

I think it more has to do with the fact that Bush started a war that can't be won. If the troops pull out it's bad if the troops stay it's bad. You see when daddy Bush told the people in Iraq to fight for their freedom when they did, the white flagged was waved in surrender and the U.S. troops headed home, once that happened Saddam had hundreds killed for that... So that left a really big mess to be cleaned up... G W Bush should have tended to business with 9/11 finding that ****** bin laden and then maybe cleaning up his daddy's unfinished business. But what's done is done, can only move forward from here.

Bill Clinton was the first person to claim Saddam had WMDs and call for regime change. This was repeated by many Democrats over and over

It is clear, however, that if left unchecked, Saddam Hussein will continue to increase his capacity to wage biological and chemical warfare, and will keep trying to develop nuclear weapons. Should he succeed in that endeavor, he could alter the political and security landscape of the Middle East, which as we know all too well affects American security.

Now this much is undisputed. The open questions are: what should we do about it? How, when, and with whom?

There were lots of information about the Presidential Daily Brief, that came out a month before the attacks, but the media didn't cover it. what was the heading on the PDB recieved by Bush?
"Osama Bin Lauden plans attacks on world trade center." it was pitched, not to mention within his first month of office he had been asking how he could go to war with Iraq, because Sadam had 'tried to kill my daddy."
Bill spoke out some, but there wasn't really much he could do at that point. He tried to call a resolution, but he was ignored.
and bush jr. went from a lame duck static do nothing president with approval ratings of 23% to a super star overnight. everyone wanted war after 9/11, someone had to pay right? we all got caught up in emotions until the truths had been discovered, and we learned it could have been preventable.

Actually, when the "Bush lied people died" became the mantra of the deranged liberals, Clinton responded by sending Sandy Burger into the National Archives to do an Enron shredding party.

Ever since then, he's been hiding in the shadows hoping no one notices that he said exactly everything that Bush said when he supposedly lied.

Because nobody called on Bill when he lied to start the war in Yugoslavia. They are both members of the same club.

Bush had all the intel Bill did. Bill probably didn't know if Bush had more intelligence to support the WMD theory. Besides, I think Bill might have been too preoccupied with his heart condition to do anything at the time.
