I assume you have a fast internet connection like cable.

Buy a Linksys wireless router. Wireless N is the fastest currently available. It will cost <$100. If you go with wireless G you can get one for <$50, but its slower. Buy a wireless card rated for the speed of your router and plug into the new computer and you are all set.

Check Newegg.com you can get wireless router/card combos at pretty good prices

Well first off with two computers you can put two network cards on ine and then use a crossover cable to connect the second network card to the second computer then enable ICS and both computers will share the single connection. That is old school stuff though.

What most people do is they connect their cable or DSL modem to a router then connect the router to their computers if they have more computers then ports most will add a network switch as well for more ports.

There is another option here though you can go wired or wireless on the router if you go wireless while you will have a slower connection you do not need to run wires you will only need wireless network cards in the computers.

The advantage of going wired over wireless is you can hardwire all your rooms in your house to a single location and plug them into your router or switch and plug your computer into the room to enjoy a much faster and more reliable (no fading signal strength) connection I currently enjoy 1000 mbps here where wifi would offer me typically 56 mbps without going to the latest technology which is far more expensive.
