Because you don't have to be serious. Who wants to be serious all the time? You go to those other categories and you will come back to P&S in tears because they tear you apart for being goofy.

Ha ha! Good question, it's probably because everywhere else you learn something that is not necessarily useful information but on Polls and Surveys you can ask questions like, "Why do your feet smell and your nose run?"
It is interesting to know what other peoples views are on different things lol. I like Jokes and Riddles as well though, you can get some fresh jokes to tell your friends =D

I wouldn't say it's the ONLY interesting category because it's not but its the MOST interesting because anything goes basically.

everyone's saying it's humorous and everyone has a great sense of humor...but everytime i ask a light hearted question or give a lighthearted answer, it gets reported and removed, that's why i stay the heck away from this category.
