I really think most people wont except it, men wearing skirts and dresses, i do know of a bloke that dresses like that, but he gets so much grief from blokes mostly, if you have the balls to, go for it, but is it really worth risking your safety unless your a hard bast**d lol.

I'm a guy and YES I do wear denim skirts in public often. The interesting thing about my journey into the public domain is that the first ten minutes I was scared as hell. After a single car passed and nothing happened the weight was lifted right off of my shoulders. I found something out that I didn't know before. Despite all of the online harassment and continuous vitrol, in public those people are non-existent and where they should be -- I have about 35 years of martial arts under my belt...and I know the laws pretty well so their rights END where my nose begins...nuff said.
At work, the clothing standards changed about a year ago regarding the wear of the skirt for males, we are not in an inclusive environment as a very large corporate company and their standards changed in order to accomodate LGBT and gender identity federal regulations with the release of an Executive Order banning gender identity and LGBT discrimination in June 2014. At first people giggled about it, but then they came out and we ALLtend to agree that including people of different persuasions belong to work with us without the hysteria and drama of who is doing what to whom in their private life and which bathroom we wish to choose. As a result, quite a few of the males at work have tried a denim skirt and I wear one regularly a few days a week and so far I've had ZERO complaints and I've gotten a ton of compliments ! :">
I wear denim knee length skirts with a polo top or a shirt and tie most of the time about 1/2 of the week to work and everyone greets me all the same. I think once we broke the stereotype barrier everyone sort of forgot any of us were any different which is particularly true of my LGBT friends. I'm am NOT gay, but I do support the way they wish to live and how they want to be left alone and to love who they wish to love. It's not all that bad, like me crossdressing it's all in how we were born and we cannot change for anyone, ever.
I think the biggest thing is just wrapping your mind around the fact that males in skirts are usually the more intelligent ones, that was the biggest surprise we found out. It's almost a status symbol now. Goth guys and males who wear the skirts are the brightest ones in the bunch and the women have noticed ! lol. As for me, I'm just trying to be myself and treat everyone equally. I look up to quite a few role models in my life, so I'm no better than than anyone else, I'm just me. As for the naysayers it's like anything else -- racism for example -- the good guys always outlive the bad ones...they will fall by the wayside as time progresses and be forgotten.
The world is changing...change with it or your kids will be left behind...

Men in skirts and kilts are hot!!! Check out the many sites that are promoting this too. Utilikiltz is one that I plan on getting for sure. Most of the guys that put one on, don't want to take it off because they are so comfortable and keeps the air flowing in all the right places. Plus, there's always the question who's wearing underwear with them & who isn't?

I'm a Goth male and I own a couple of skirts I wear when I go clubbing, no shame in that... it's perfectly acceptable as far as I'm concerned or care. Just make sure the skirt fits who you are and doesn't make you look like a jackass.
And, I hate to say this, but Brittany B stated if men start wearing women's clothes, pretty soon, there won't be any more men left in the country. Well, if that's the case, then if women keep wearing men's clothes, we won't have any women left in the country anymore either. It seems we're losing the war of fashion, friend. Bloody hell... I didn't want to marry a guy with nice boobs, but I guess I'll have to now.

Men are starting to wear skirts and dresses in public. Just not enough. And you talk about women's clothing being made for women, well maybe the fashion guru's could start making dresses for men.

YES IT IS TIME, I would love that. The first thing I'd do is call all my EX GF's and ask them out for dinner and wear my favorite skirt and heels. I don't wear skirts too often anymore but I do wear high heels most of the time. I love it, it's fun and I'm not hurting anyone!

Crossdressing in public is safe either during Halloween, costume parties, certain night clubs or in large cities like New York City (people there see it all). It is the rare and brave one who actually does so in another time and place. Societal views on public crossdressing (and crossdressing in general) may change someday, but I doubt within our lifetime. Most will have to remain confined to private female domination or domicile.

Well we now have more people on the planet than ever, so cultural diversity is bound to take a leap with it. I'm not stopping you, just avoid the local housing estates until it catches on.
