I was born on Good Friday. ;-) I always thought that might be a foreshadowing of my future. Because of Leap year, my birthday will never fall on Easter.

My brother's is very close to Christmas. He never had a successful birthday party. The last attempt we made was when he was 12. No one RSVP'ed. No one came. It was so depressing for him.

One cousin was born on Christmas Eve. Talk about rip-off. Her parents always tried to do something special about the time of Christmas so she could have a birthday like all four of her siblings.

My aunt (mom's side) was born on New Year's Day. Nothing like waking up with a hangover on your birthday! Thankfully, though, she was never a heavy drinker. But she was always allowed to sleep in on her birthday.

Another aunt (on my dad's side) was born on Valentine's Day. Cheated out of gifts from boyfriends is how it worked out.

My cousin was born on Valentine's Day also, but he's a guy, so it doesn't seem to affect him as much.

My birthday falls on Memorial Day a lot. I think it's great, I get a holiday for my b-day and so do friends and family. Thanksgiving and Christmas are tough but at least you get the day off and can be with people you care about on your special day. Isn't that what is important??? B-days and holidays stopped being about the presents when I turned about 8 or 9. Now just being with my family is what I want.

i have an uncle on my dad's side whose birthday is christmas eve, and my mom's is the day after christmas (boxing day here in canada). it makes them easier for some people to remember, but you get a lot of "merry christmas, happy birthday cards", which my mom hates, and your birthday isnt as special because everyone is all swept up in christmas.

My birthday is on New Year's Day. I've never had any problem with it, except when I was a kid and wanted to have birthday parties -- no one ever came.
