They are going to blame Bush. Boxer already did. It was funny, she came out and said that the fires caused so much damage because 50% of the CA National Guards equipment was in Iraq and that because we are in Iraq peoples houses burned.

Now, time for the truth.

In a situation like this I would say, “Sen. Boxer, I hate to contradict your preconceived notions with actual FACT but:”

Right after you spouted off about the war in Iraq being the reason the fires were out of control due to 50% of the CA Guard’s equipment being overseas...the 2nd in Command of the CA National Guard held a press conference in which he stated that roughly 3% (YES THAT’S THREE< NOT FIFTY) of the Guards equipment is in Iraq.

He further stated that out of the approximately 20,000 Guardsmen the state has, only 3,000 are deployed overseas...AND that the remaining 17,000 are on alert and ready to respond to the fires if needed.

How do you like THEM apples Senator?

Why do you assume the liberals are going to blame anyone?
Some people might think that the area should have been better prepared since there are forest fires in California often, though.

God damn! You've been watching O'Reily, who is just trying to stir the pot. Liberals aren't blaming anybody. What is wrong with you? Why don't you watch something besides Fox News?

Didn't they already start by blaming the President (Barbara Boxer's comments) and Global Warming (Dirty Harry's comments).
