If you keep letting them all in, & let them change your way of life, when they think their ways are better, that is why they moved from their country...It is a shame, it is happening in the States too...

The culture and way of life of the British people remains to some extent, very largely unchanged by immigration.
What actually happens in UK is that new cultures arrive. The people already in Britain then select the bits they like and add this to their existing culture.
Let's look at it like this. The Brythonic Celts of Britain, the Welsh and the Cornish, whos ancestory goes back here in UK for about 10,000 - pay scant attention to anything new, unless they like it.
These folk by the way are the same stock of people who built Stone Henge and a lot more besides. DNA evidence proved what I have just written.
What is the favourite dish [food] of the British people today?
Actually it is an Indian dish developed first in UK by an Indian chef - Chicken Tikka Masala - yum etc!
It used to be something else, fish-n-chips, tripe and onions or whatever local food was available.
Just because chicken tikka masala is the fave dish of the Brits does not stop any of us having fish-n-chips, bangers and mash, tripe and onions or anything else we fancy. All of it including spag-bol now belongs to our culture.
The English invented three games which are of world importance. At least they are to the fans. Cricket, exported to the Empire and Commonwealth - it's a serious matter for most people, especially when India is playing Pakistan etc.
The other two games exported are football [soccer] and rugby. Both of very high importance around the globe.
You do not have to be a white Anglo Saxon to enjoy football. It's now international. But it started right here in England and is still spoken of in awe as the English Game.
Culture is a two way street.
If you study what the people of Britain do, you will find that we still do things which we did several thousands of years ago and we just don't know why.
Why do some people risk life and limb charging down a steep hill somewhere in Gloucester after a rolling cheese? No one knows for sure even how old this event is, never mind why.
Where I live we get the largest Hindu Fest outside of India each year, yet only point nine percent of our local population is Indian by race.
Do I mind? No. Chance once a year to have bright orange powder thrown in your face and have year ear drums bust by blaring trumpets and eyes dazzled by ultra-brite colours etc.
Otherwise it's the boozer and the local jazz fest, which is just not for me and ain't exactly British either. Mostly New Orleans trad jazz which gives a lot of people a great deal of fun and pleasure. Why not?
Lets just keep adding more.

This problem of immigrants is over reaction.Infact the percentage of illegal immigration is very small.Immigration is due to two reasons:-
1.British people are prepared to do ordinary jobs. They are also not prepared to work as nurses ,doctors, carpenters etc.For these they want immigrants
2.The general wage rates are VERY HIGH compared to wages in the other parts of the world.
If British people are prepared for a general reduction in wage rates and prepared to do all work(now being done by immigrants) immigration problem will be solved.

Of course not. Naturally things change and evolve we're in the 21st century now but there is a lot of history and traditions here that have survived for centuries.
Why so much doom and gloom? Where's the spirit of our Grandparents gone? If they were constantly whinging they would have thrown the towel in when things got tough, but they didn't. They dealt with far worse conditions than us, without crying it's all over. Just wish our generation would stop being so pessimistic.

if it ends the whinging about losing at cricket and the annual whinging at Wimbledon it will be worth it. So did British immigrants to other parts of the world not try to change them. right now British immigrants are turning parts of Morocco into little Britain. and not the comedy either. its the British way do isn't it change places to be like home. wipe out the culture of where they are and take over.

Not all just in some places. London for instance will soon be so full of foreigners that it will be unrecognisable.
