Why does the IMDB list The Godfather as Thriller but not as Crime?

It's an Action/Drama/Crime/Thriller

It should not be a thriller because I think it is more on the lines of a drama movie and not a Thriller.

If you click the "more" button under plot keywords you will see it is also listed as a "crime epic"
