i lucked out and have my billing cycle start the first of the month

After midnight on the night that the plan will renew. Example: if you signed the contract on Oct 1, 2007 the minutes will start over on Nov 2, in the early morning. At least this is true with AT&T cell phone plans, hoped that helped.
