My dad remarried after knowing a lady for 6 weeks and of course it ended in divorce and she comitted suicide sadly about a year later. My mom remarried and it's not going great either.

yes. it's been under a year since they've been divorced. It took my mom 3 months to really get over it and not be depressed. It's kinda nice though, my parents didn't get along very well and there was a lot of resentment between them, they seem much happier now.
We can still get together for family dinners on special occassions which shows a great deal of maturity on their part. It is a bit awkward but I'm glad they can get along enough to be in the same room - after all I have a wedding to plan and I'd like them to both be there!

My parents are divorced in a way. My mom and my dad didn't get married until I was 8 or 9. 3 years later he died. So....in a way.

Yeah, mine are still divorced. Always will be.
They're dead.
(And I agree about the better choices. Dad made Mom's life very hard to live.)

My parents are divorced still. They act like they are married at times still but they live on their own and everything!

my parents have been married for 30 years and grandparents on both sides have been married for over 60 years now

My parents never got married. They had me out of wedlock and then broke up two years after I was born.
