Stress, definitely stress. The right and wrong of issues. Caring too much about other people on matters that you can't do a darn thing about. Having to accept that a person who has no interest in the matter gets to have the say as to how things will be.

I've been through 3 car wrecks and 2 murder trials and drank and done other things along with my friends (who have since passed due to lines on the mirror and lines on their faces) and I think the worst part is sobering up and facing reality and seeing what a horrible mess our government is in!! When you try and watch TV and read the paper it's depressing. We were told in AA to keep in touch with current events, but, I don't know if that was good or bad advice!!

If I go by clinical demographics, it should be colo-rectal cancer. Norwegians and Japanese have the highest rates and that is partly attributed to fish in the diet. But, I suspect that it will be the progressive maladies which come from my having Type 2 diabetes, even though my blood glucose levels are controlled by medication and diet. Still, I can count on genetics to help me. I know who I came from and have the lists of all of my ancestors back to the late 11th Century. None of my male ancestors died of natural causes before the age of 80. Yes, they were killed in wars and accidents. But, it wasn't a bacteria or virus which brought them down prematurely.

An overdose of smoking Heather cigars handrolled by a lovely Italian woman. But I shall be in good company. Quite a few of us will be singing Irish and Aussie ballards as we go down for the last count.

My health will probably kill me, I have many health problems, But I have a very sick spouse and we have been married for almost 50 yrs. If he dies first I think I'll just end up failing and slowly grieve to death. On the other hand if I go first I know he'll have to go to a nursing home because he cannot care for himself and that worries me.

Am going to fall over a "Hot Wheels Car" and break my neck on the hardwood floors, or from trying not to step on one of our Chihuahuas.

I am going finally just quit. Too many years. Fall down dead, like Bing Crosby did right after he played golf.

My mother ! She's 82, and on her own admission is a cantankerous old so and so, and glories in it. If she carries on like this much longer I will go before she does LOL.
