Try eating more fiber to make yourself more regular. A balanced diet should help out too.

Try eating 10 to 20 oranges, 20 to 30 mandarins or 40 to 50 prunes a day for a few days.

You need fiber in your diet. You could try a product called Equalactin. It balances the water in your bowels. You obviously do not have enough water if you are only going once per week.

I think the "once a day BM" has gone way to whatever is normal for that person.
I'm the same way and so is my Mom. If every 3 days is "normal" for you , or once a week then I wouldn't worry.
however if you are having ill side effects, abdominal pain, or any other pain then you need to seek medical advise.

What do you eat? Do you drink at least 8 glasses of water a day? Put flaxseed on your cereal every morning. Eat fruits and vegetables at least twice a day. Sleep 8 hours a night. Exercise a little every day.

The average is actually once every 48 hours...your diet sounds like it's lacking in fiber. Eat more greens.

Hey there. Everyones bowels are different. Perhaps you are just constipated. Try eating more fiber like bran flakes or raisin bran.

who told you that once a day is "normal"? What is normal is what your body is comfortable with doing. If you go once a week, so be it, as long as your stools are not hard and you don't have to strain to eliminate, that is your "NORM". Everyone is different. If you want more than one a week, drink two liters of water a day and eat more dried fruit, like raisins.

well you could take a fiber supplement, but you might wanna talk to your doctor about it. My fiance is the same way, but he gets bad stomach aches all the time. SO he takes fiber to help regulate him.
