Yeah. I remember that urban legend. The kids would be parked and they would hear a scratching noise coming from outside the car. Then they would go to check it out and BLAH. They would end up dead. Or there is another version where there is a serial killer who escaped a looney bin. Two kids are out parking and hear it on the news. Then they hear the scratching. They go home and there is a bloody hook hanging from the handle of the door. That version is a little happier, I think.

He was a true hooker, think he left a hook in every little lovers lane in the states. Some pretty horrifying near misses.

Our girl scout leader would tell us that story while we were at camp, sitting in the dark around the campfire. Scared the crap out of us every time! My dad would also tell it when we were little and had slumber parties in the summer. It doesn't matter how many times you hear it... it's still scary!

Oh, Thanks for the warning. All I can remember is the man with the golden arm. The hand came off at night and crawled across the floor and grabbed candy from bad little children!

Yeah, he's the original "Jersey Devil." He just killed some folks down in Joisey last year. Sweetie, I'm from Philly and NEITHER of these two myths are true.

That myth was even floating around in the early 60's. Guess that guy is pretty old by now. Geez, he could even be the "senior" troll. Ooooohhh, Spooky !
