It depends, if it's under 18 i think it's wrong but anything above 18 is OK because 18 year olds are considered adults not children.

I think if you are a teen who has NOT finished high school then its wrong. You can not be in a marriage then and you can not have been dating the person for that long. I am going to try to have a baby with my soon to be hubby when we get married in March, and its only this soon because I have medical problems and we want to have a child before I cannot have any. I dont see anything wrong with that!

I know so many teens that are better moms than 30 year olds. My mom had me at 17 and I had my first at 18 and my kids are happy and healthy. Some "teens" are not mature yet I do give you that. But for those of them that are AWESOME moms, they just don't get enough credit in society. I hate going out in public and getting those looks. You dont know what kind of house I live in or what kind of car I drive. You don't know about my college degree.. So who are you to judge because I decided to big things with my life? I have NO problem supporting my children, just me and my husband. So please don't be so quick to judge.

It's sad that more and more teenagers are having children.
I use to work in the ER and I have seen girls as young as 13 come in pregnant. Girls come over from Mexico very young and get pregnant and have their children here so that they know they can't get kicked out of the country for their child is an American.
Even girls who were born here in America get pregnant in their teens.
It's sad that with the way the world is with STD's some girls will still have sex without condoms.
Though... even with condoms, you can get pregnant.
They are not 100% fool proof.
The only thing that will keep you from becoming pregnant is ABSTINENCE!!!
This takes care of contracting STD's and getting pregnant.

honey i am a mother of 3 one is 30 the other two are 29. i was 14 when i had my first 15 when i had my twins.now i do love my children .but I have had no teen life to speak of.I dont regret the decessions that I have made .But everyone should enjoy being a child while they can. it is not easy to raise a baby being a teen.live your life to its fullest then think about a family.

I think it's sad that they don't keep their legs closed and don't use birth control at all. I feel sorry for the babies of teen mothers because the poor kids are usually passed onto their grandparents to raise so the little brats can have a social life.

it depends on the individuals maturity.i was pregnant at 17 and it was because i was careless. it was hard to be so young and to have a child. children having children is not a good thing. if i were more mature from life's experience it would have been easier on my child and me.but hind sight is 20/20. i had 2 kids by 20 and am now a very young grandma.now I'm am glad i had them so young....i still have allot of living to do not to mention the energy to do it...

Teens are kids theirselves. In order to have children you need some way to support them. Teens generally don't have this. You also need to mature and teens normally are not.
Wait til your married and have a decent job.

I think that a person should have the means to support a child on their own before they should consider having a child. This would include financially as well as physically and emotionally. If you are not prepared to give a child all that they need, you should not have one, no matter what your age.
