For science I have to make a earthquake resistant model. That can actully survive a simulated earthquake by shaking the desks in Transfrom, Divergent and, Convergent. It can be anything that not too heavy and it can be up to 2 ft. Also it needs to be simple enough for 6th grade but still needs to be good. I just need suggestions I dont want to cheat.

What you need to do is research how they make EQ resistant buildings in Japan and California. Look at the materials they use and how they put them together. Then modify those ideas to a smaller scale.
