What?

Unprotected sex does not cause STDs....having sex with someone that has a STD causes STDs. If two people know they are clean for sure and have unprotected sex with only each other, they will not develop a STD.

And yes, unprotected sex at the right time of the month with healthy people will cause a woman to become pregnant.

And - there are other birth control methods besides condoms and pills......

Yikes.

Unprotected sex is the most efficient way to conceive, if you use protection there is only a 1% chance that the sperm will cross the condom, and then who knows what the chances will be of fertilizing...astronomical....

One person could have
(a) contracted the Std and given it to the other before they were married, or
(b)cheated on the other, they could contract an std outside of the marriage and give it to the non-cheating partner.

if both partners don't have an STD when they are married, they won't get std's from unprotected sex, unless, somebody has cheated. So, if you know it wasn't you, it was your partner.

and FYI: you also can not get an STD from a public washroom, or sharing utensils, only from physical contact for Herpes, warts, crabs, or contact with bodily fluids for Clamidiya, Syphillus, Ghonnoriha, HIV, etc...

you asked what the chances are so.......

If one of you has an STD then the chance of passing on said STD is very high

If neither of you have an STD and neither of you have sex with other people then the chance is nil

In order to be sure whether either of you have an STD you would have to go and get tested

I'm a little concerned about the last question. I suggest going to a library or sitting down with a trusted friend and asking some questions about babies, sex and general biology. It's in your best interest to know your own body and what it does...... especially before you start making babies.

best of luck

How old are you. Of course women can get pregnant with unprotected sex. I'm not sure what you mean about STD's. If you are in an monoginous relationship why are you worried. Unless you both were having sex with a lot of different people, then maybe, but if worried get check out and be careful.

You can't get an infection, or an STD unless you've had sex with someone who was already infected. If you or your spouse have an infection or STD then you need to be treated first. Talk to your doctor if you have any questions. If someone has AIDS then unprotected sex could cause pregnancy but to parents who could die from AIDS. There are many orphans in Africa because of this.

Umm.. if neither of them have stds and aren't cheating they will be fine. Yes, unprotected sex is the best way for a couple to have a baby, though sometimes ppl still get pregnant when using protection.

Unprotected sex is the only way to make babies.

If neither of you has an STD than neither of you will get one from having sex with eachother.
