When someone pretends to be more than they are can you spot it? I have been told my confidence and honesty is sexy. But I think its cause I know and own my limitations and I am content with working on them. Star me

Mostly after you see their true colors poking out. I've seen so much fakes it sickens me. Here we are being real and true to ourselves and fakes seem to get it better because they're.. FAKE.

But at least I know who I am and can say it comfortably. You ask them and they'll probably have a nervous breakdown. plus they'll be lonely when more people catch on because nobody can trust them...

My BEST friend was/is fake.

She went from emo/prep/goth/priss numerous times each month last school year. I'm a professional at spotting fakes.

Yeah its usually pretty easy. It does depend on the personality of the individual, but most people just do stuff to hang out with 'the crowd'.

It depends on how subtle or obvious someone is about who or what they're pretending to be. I think sometimes you have to observe them over time, in different situations.
