Try using lotions with lots of good moisturizers. And use aloe gel: That is great for burns and similar damage.

Having never tried peeling, I have absolutely no idea how fast it works or how expensive it is.

Chemical peels, such as TCA or gycolic peels, will help to improve the texture of the skin and reduce the appearance of fine lines. Also, chemical peels will help to lighten "sun spots" on skin. These peels are sold in various strenghts. You should start with a very low concentration and follow the directions carefully. If you use to strong of a strength or leave the acid on too long, it will damage your skin. If you are uncertain or scared to apply a peel at home go to a spa or a saloon for a theraputic facial.

After you have treated the skin, always wear sunscreen and a hat when in the sun.

Good luck.

Best thing you can do is cover up. Wear sun hats & such, and if you have exposed skin - consistently use sunscreen of SPF 35 or more, every two hours you're in the sun. Religiously.

You can't un-do previous sun damage, but you can prevent more from happening.
