Who will cut the fat? Take the country in a completely new direction? As I see it, like his ideas or not, Ron Paul is the only one thinking outside the box. Cutting the fat is often a shock to most people who are resistant to change, but sometimes it just has to be done. Yes, he has some out there ideas...but he wants to return power back to the states for most things. Getting rid of the Department of Education and letting the states run their own Education departments. I could get behind that. Local governments are far more aware of what their people need as opposed to the people sitting in Washington. Slash it all. Get rid of earmarks. Get rid of people who get paid for 40 hours a week and only work 10. (If you live in the DC area, you get how popular this is.) It's a completely NEW way of looking at Washington. It's time.

The corporation would be bankrupt and out of business. The stockholders would be selling apples on the street corner. Reality check time: The US is in deep. deep debt to China. We owe our souls to the company store!

My pet cat could run things more efficiently than Bush. If the government were a business, and Bush the CEO, he'd be in jail.

apparently many think of America (US anyway) as a business.
thats probably why voters prefer business men and entreprenaurs as excellent presidential candidates
