Why do people in checkout lines always_______________?

wait till they get up front to get their money ready to pay? and why do they get pushy in lines, waiting to go up faster and end up hitting those in front of them???????
My, we all need to chill out and relax and enjoy the wait. Good time to wittness to others in line, and just yakk and get to know ppl, to laugh and enjoy life/ We are all in such a hurry all the time.
My goodness, lets slow down.
I giggle as someone waits and waits and does nothing to get their money out, but they are shoving to get up front, then by the time they do pay, the one behind them is about to shove them out of line.
Where has patience gone and kidness? Lets do all we can to bring it back. OK

Why do people in the checkout lines always - seem to also get in front of me in traffic with their poke along mentality! Then again at the bank, the cleaners and all places where lines form! There should be a special line for people who like waiting in lines.

Realize that they are going to pay by check after the order is rung up. Now they have to find the checkbook, fill it out, etc. Makes me crazy!

make sure they get in line before I do and *always* buy things that need price checks, have to fumble around to find their credit/debit cards in their purses the size of suitcases, realize they forgot their Giant Eagle or Kroger cards, in order to get the stores' discount prices, etc.
