I went for hynotherapy to stop smoking.
I could hear everything going on outside the building ,cars going by etc. I wasn't aware of the time going by.It felt as though I was only in the room 10 minutes although it was really one hour
I did stop smoking for a week though

I was by Paul McKenna! He does TV programs and stuff. I didn't go sleepy or unconcious, just really relaxed, calm and peaceful. It was very nice. At first I could hear what he was saying too me but then my mind just kind of faded off, I can't remember what he said after that. I was under for about 20 mins, but I only know that because I checked the time after. When you're properly under, you have no sense of time, or place, just here and now is what matters. I can imagine this is how I felt before I was born! It was very strange. When I woke up, I was refreshed and felt I could do anything!
Hympnotism is when your mind surrenders all its thoughts and beliefs, and the person who hympnotizes you is able to reprogram your mind and thought patterns for the better. Or they could for the worse! If you do decide to get it done, make sure you go to a professional and not a friend whos just learnt it. You don't want just any moron messing with your head. This stuff really works.

For me, I never lost consciousness. I remember every word the hypnotist said. I just went along with things and became very relaxed, almost asleep, but not really. 3 years later and I still haven't smoke a single cigarette so something got through to me.

Feels like floating out to sea on a bed of blow up dolls
with your hands tied to your feet whilst being set on fire by a midget in a tuxedo singing 'Here comes the rain again' by Roxette.
It's not bad.....

No, but I've been in my own trance that I can't get out of before, where I just stare in the distance.
Also, I fell asleep with my eyes wide open...My sister says it's true, only they looked really weird. I had no idea they were open.

sure, there are many levels of hypnosis.
i have been hypnotized but there are a lot of misconceptinos about what it means.
i always remember everything, i just really want to do what the person tells me.
study and learn more about it. it feels fun and a lot like meditating to me.

No. People have tried to hypnotize me and it just doesn't work. It's impossible for me to be put under for some reason. Maybe I'm too pig headed to let anyone in.

Cheers

I don't think it's possible. My beliefs and thoughts can't be penetrated by someone that talks alot of s***.
