i recently replaced my wireless adapter with another one becuae the other one was warn out, but the other one always had 56.0mbps, but when i changed it with the other one, it dropped to 11.0mbps and its staying there... is there anyway to raise it. so i get a fast speed...

I doubt Your Internet speed is faster then 11mps. Its just a matter of how you connect to your Wireless access point (a hub or gateway).
Make sure you have the latest drivers for the card. Check the manufactures site and see if they have an suggestions.
(did you buy a 54mbs card?)

Sounds like the card you put in was a "B" card, which is set to run at 11Mbit/s.
