If there was both Jordan and Palestine during the time of Jesus, was Jordan a part of Palestine before Transjordan existed. Also, when did Transjordan become established?

Palestine existed long time ago and the 1st Christians in the world were Palestinians. few Jews believed in Jesus.

Jordan is a modern country. In biblical times Palestine existed but the jews had different names for it.
The area was part of the Ottoman Empire for hundreds of years until the end of WW1 and was part of the province of Syria.
After WW1 Transjordan was created by the British who were given a mandate by the League of Nations to govern Transjordan Palestine and Iraq.
It became Jordan after WW2

Jordan was invented in 1921. During the first years it was called Transjordan. In Antiquity Palestine was mainly a geographical term, sometimes a province of the Roman empire. It is better not to think of former times in the terms of today´s states.
