He only needs 'his day in court' if he is charged with a criminal act.

So far there is no evidence that he has committed any crimes.

(And to the people who want him placed on trial because of your own political opinions - how are you any better than Saddam?)

Yes, there are pending war crimes charges that he should face. Its not right to be on the run and hiding the of his life when he could just go defend himself in court.
