It's actually both those things. It looks like a chicken coop on crack.

Is this a serious question or a joke? Rich Republicans in Boston?
Have you ever been to Fenway?
What kind of "edge" do you want, anyway? Baseball is (or SHOULD be) a family show.
Go to Fenway -- sit in the bleachers and have a Fenway Frank, listen to the old school organ (I assume they still have it -- they did the last time I was there in 2005) and try to remember what this sport was like back in the day.

LMAO @ calling it a young republican convention. Massachusetts is probably the one of the most if not most liberal state.
It's not boring at all. Like mentioned above every game during reg season is like the playoffs. It is a great atmosphere with so much passion for the Sox.
The seating does suck, but it's a great experience. There is so much history behind this park.
You are pretty ignorant to say such things about Fenway.

Republicans?? KKK rally, that was uncalled for and bad taste. I never expect something like that coming from you as most of your posts are smart and engaging. Maybe there are a few republicans, but this is Massuchussets, which is known as the liberal state, so my guess is the majority is not conservative. As far as your question, if you ask the players you would get a different response. They say the atmosphere there is always like a playoff game, even during the regular season. The fans are on the field, so it feels like they are right on top of you, which is a bit intimidating. The quirks in the outfield make it challenging. The wall makes it cool, because it's towering over you as a batter...I think it's a cool place. Now the seats...they suck a**. Some of them face the wrong way and you can barely fit a small child in one of those. My knees practically touch my face you are so squished. They suck. I just think the atmosphere is what makes it special. It has to be special, because Camden Yard and another ball park which escapes me, were built on the Fenway park model. Be honest though, you are a Jays fan, you think that stadium is better? It always look cold and too big to even feel the fans on tv..and that turf..oof. Personally, I love the Mariners field and Houston...they are cool places. Oh and of course Camden, but I have yet to get there to see it for myself.

*LOL*...First of all, Boston is pretty democratic...Do the Boston Tea Party and the Kennedys ring a bell?...And as for Fenway, it is probably the most historic park in baseball, nevermind Yankee Stadium...

Fenway is great, it has so much history, isn't it supposed to be about watching the game anyway? I don't need all the bells and whistles.

You sound like an ignorant, bitter, angry, uninformed MTV generation problem child.
Expand your horizons.
If you don't know of something that is fine, but to express your intolerance for others publicly is just wrong.
