Because baseball games are one of the finest ways to waste some time, and each and every one is an entertaining, live performance.

Real fans know that, despite the last game of the year crowning the champion team, it does suck -- because it IS the last game of the year.

Well one answer is beacuse people like to watch baseball. Another would be there team is in the world series. Another would be why just watch one game?? You have no idea whats going on. If your going to watch it when a team has won three games you obvioulsy dont really care. So whats the point.

cuz were fans!!!! Every single game, every play is important whe it comes to the world series. As baseball fane, we have watched our teams all season, waiting for this. Some fans have their team in the series, other fans watch for the love of the game, and other fans watch because it is the world series.

Because we love baseball and the World Series should be the pinacle of great baseball every year. I think this year the best baseball was played in the ALCS. But hopefully the Rockies will make a show of it.

You have no idea how beautiful the game of baseball is.
Your question displays how sad we are as a society, we are so jaded that we can not find joy in witnessing the sequences that unfold the story and we MUST see the bottom line.

Why do football fans watch the first 10 weeks of the football season or for that matter watch the regular season at all? If you enjoy the sport you watch the games.

Because we're baseball fans and we want to see how our team is going throughout the entire World Series! We want to see how the other team is playing, we want to see who's pitching, who's hitting home runs, we want to see the score, we want to hear the crowd screaming...if you're not a baseball fan, it would be hard for me to explain it to you.

Why would anyone wait that long? If you're a football fan, watch the Super Bowl then.
