Add cool tap water to it. That's what I do.
I put my tea in the microwave for two minutes and 25 seconds, and it's boiling when I take it out. The cup is only half full, so I add tap water to it to fill the rest of the cup and it cools it off enough so I can drink it immediately.
Cheers

DON'T USE CERAMIC CUPS - - Glass hold heat half as long, so to prevent future cups of tea that stay hot too long switch to glass. For the present, our a little cool water or slip in an ice cube.

I don't know about ice, sounds like maybe not a good idea. I always put a dash of cold water in from the tap.

just leave it to cool itself, I drink mine black, so it takes ages to cool, about 20 minutes! if you are in a hurry a dash of cold water will do the trick but definately NOT ice!

I would put an ice cube in it, or cold water, or milk if you like chai tea.

Fan it, blow on it, use a large spoon to draw it out and cool it.
