I try to use some macros, and I get a message "Code execution has been interrupted" The buttons on this window are "Continue, End, Debug, Help". Sometimes it opens Visual Basic. Closing Visual Basic gets a message "This command will stop the debugger".

How do I get this to stop?

The macros worked fine yesterday. This has happened before. This is not a new version of Word. It's MS Office 2002.

I was just doing word processing and apparently I hit some key combination that messed things up. I am not a programmer.

That sounds like a programming bug in the macro. If you can, get hold of whoever provided the macro. If you wrote it yourself, try using the debugger to step through the code.

Good luck.

word has a new security feature built into it that pervents the running of micros. You would have to turn this off before you could run it. I don't know how exactly to turn it off though because I've never really bothered trying to use word for anything like that.
