Honestly, there just isn't enough talk about My Chemical Romance. You know, I really want to talk about how hot they are and how deep they are, how much they touch my life. I just never seem to get the opportunity.

Yeah, that was regretable. Too easy. Oh well, it's Friday and I'm tired.
And James has given me a good idea for my pennance. Something positive. There are a lot of good questions as well. Lots of fun things to think about that I wouldn't otherwise. All in all, much more than a fair trade for a little inanity here and there. Especially since all the good questions are pre highlighted.

Whatever happened to "Whack"? I miss whack. In fact it's totally whack that whack isn't in anymore.

People that complain about Rock & Pop being in the same category. I'm sorry but when I want to come into the Music section, I don't want to scroll through three or four pages of subtopics before getting to the Rock section. Quit your bitchin' already if that's the worst of your problems. It's not like they're trying to stick opera and zydeco together.
People who can't spell or produce correct grammar. There should be some sort of standardized test before one is allowed to comment in Y!Answers. I don't need any further proof that the public school system is becoming more of a miserable failure by the day. I can go to my kid's school and see that first hand.
People who ask subjective questions and then criticize you for your reply. If you don't like the f**king answer, whoever it's from, then don't ask the f***ing question.
People who need help finding a song title but when they try to give a lyric it goes " well, it has the word 'drumstick' in it......and it also has the word 'thermometer' .......and then the beat goes Ba Ba Ba-Ba-Ba. Sorry that's all I know." You don't need help with a song title, you need help with your short-term memory retention.
Prof's right, the word "whack" needs to come back into everyday use. I'm also trying to reinstate the phrase "That's ghetto" back into the mainstream.
Nothing's annoying in Y! Answers really. I just enjoy ranting.

It would be too easy to talk about the stupid questions and MCR overload. At least those are good for laughs. The most annoying thing about the R & P (and Y!A) in general is the guilty until proven innocent concept with the violations. The hamsters that run this operation are a sad bunch of pathetic losers looking to validate their own self worth through a misguided power trip.
Also, compared to the game lobbies from seven years ago, this place is very civilized.

Not enough promiscuous sex. I mean this is the rock section right? Where are the groupies for the level 6 and 7 users?
But in all honesty the onnly thing that gets on my nerves around here are the jerks that think their opinion is superior because a bunch of old fuddy duddy rock journalists agree with them. Somehow as long as I mention Led Zeppelin and the Beatles in my answer it's more valid. So I guess a little more open mindedness would be good?

The Rock vs. Rap battles in here can get annoying. Some Rock fans can't stand it when people making sweeping generalizations about them and what they listen to, but they do the exact same thing with Rap and Rap fans. And Rap fans do the same thing as well. It REALLY gets annoying.
My other big complaint is about questions looking for an opinion, but then stating that if you disagree with theirs, they don't want to hear it. My suggestion would be not to post the question in the first place!
Edit: Prof - "Whack" needs a "Daddy-O" style comeback!

The only thing that annoys me actually goes on throughout the Music section (Y/A really for that matter in certain respects), and that's when people have to insult other people's taste in music....gees, we are all different and have different tastes....just because we don't happen to like song or a band doesn't mean it's all crap....somebody likes it and that's really all that matters.

people that continue to ask the exact same questions.
when they post the same question within 3 seconds of the other.
The dreaded 'Emo' war. Can we just ban all mention of the word?
and other mindless things along those lines.

I get annoyed when people say FOB or any other mediocre bands are good. it used to make me really annoyed. nowadays i ignore those comments. kinda like i'm immune to it already. People just don't realize what is good music. many questions also get put to vote here. Can't people pick best answers
Last but not least, R&P is cliquey. especially with the music snobs.

The most annoying thing for me is simply putting the two together in one sub-category. Rock and Pop just don't go together in my books!
As if I give a flying f about what Britney Spears is singing these days.....

All of the above...Also, some of the people that use R&P are wound a little too tight. It's Y!A, it's supposed to be fun, smile every now and again! I don't want to rant too much, I always get angry e-mails afterwards.. :(
