I believe in taking care of my family.

Why don't you?

Steve,

Did your public school education allow you to realize that you can write a check any time you want to help others? You don't have to wait for Hillary to tell you what to do.

First of all I am not a lib, or con, I am an individual thinker. No I am not angry that you pay for your childrens healthcare. In reality that is your responsibility. I myself never had children that I could not afford. Medically it was the smart choice. Yet I understand that people do have children they could not afford to have. While the parent should be held liable, it is not the childrens fault. With what we have spent on this war, I would have prefered to pay for childrens healthcare. Atleast the money would have been spent here employing Americans.

I do too, my employer offers an affordable policy. It covers my son while he is in college (you know - while he is a !!! OMG !!GROWN UP ADULT!!! undergraduate.

My husbands company does not offer family coverage, so we would have to buy insurance as independents if not for my job.
If I lost my job I would hope that we could be covered by CHIPS, even though our yearly income would be moderate because we would be downscaling just to adjust to the lowered income and probably not be able to afford insurance until we got both incomes back.

My friends husband died of cancer and lost their insurance when he couldn't work - with the co-pays for care and the loss of group pricing on insurance, they nearly lost their house.

But you go ahead and congratulate yourself for paying for insurance - you will have it, until you don't.

Are you serious? Do you understand the we live in a free society. You don't HAVE to take her 'hand-out'. Kudos to you for being able to afford healthcare. Some people cannot afford due to unforeseen circumstances in their life while I agree others sit on their butts looking for a free ride. Enjoy your society and the fact you can afford something, that's great. Don't look down your nose at unfortunates. Learn to help out a little after you step down from your soap box.

Hillary will say anything to get a vote. I do not understand why some people think that when we get subsidies from the federal or state government - we are getting it from cyberspace. We are the government - at all levels. Everyone in my family is self-insured. We pay for it from the salaries we earn after having sacrificed a lot of our lives by educating ourselves in night school, which allowed us to get better-paying jobs.

If you were to read and listen to what Hillary is saying instead of your closing your black and white simple mind you would know that under the plan proposed by Hillary you would see no change in your insurance except, perhaps a small drop in the premium cost.

You actually take care of your children and take responsibility to raise them, and don't want the Government to do it for you, when we have Mother Socialist Hillary? Gee Whiz, you must be a Conservative with values and Morals, something the Lib's don't know anything about.

Then don't take "Hillary's Handout". Many of us believe that being a member of a civilized society means helping out the less fortunate within our society.

Suit yourself. But there are many people who don't have the resources to affort health insurance. And the majority of the American people are not so selfish as to allow children to suffer while PRETENDING you "make it on your own."

No one wants the dog-eat-dog ugliness and self-centered lack of caring that the neocons claim is their ideal society. Its that simple--the right-wing is a small percentage of the American people--and the rest of us really don't care what they want.

I do take care of my family, and provide health insurance for my daughter! What's your point?

I am a liberal.
I own an electrical contracting business and I pay for all of my families health care and dental insurance.
Does that anger you?
