No...see, a few thousand years ago, the Jews owned the land. Then a few thousand years later, Arabs moved in. Then the British took control, gave control to the UN, which gave control to the Jews. "Palestinian" is a term made up in the 80s describing a group of people made up of mostly Syrians to try to give the land back to the Arabs--didn't work though.

Umm... NO. Read your history.

In pre-Biblical times, the area was known as the Land of Canaan and had been a collection of city-states, tributary to the Egyptian Pharoah, as attested to in the Tel-El Amarna tablets. The breakup of the Egyptian empire beginning about 1500 BC made possible the invasion of the Israelites. According to Jewish tradition, twelve tribes entered Canaan from Egypt and conquered it, led by Moses approximately 1240-1200 BC. Historical evidence from the Amarna tablets suggests that there were already 'apiru' (Hebrews) among the Canaanites in the time of Egyptian rule.

And the US belonged to the Indians first, then portions claimed by Spain, France, and England. Now the land is mostly owned by foreign countries, but that's beside the fact. Israel is a Jewish nation, and yes now belongs to the people that reside there.

i do no longer and that i do no longer think of it concerns who owned it first subsequently simply by fact there is definitely unlikely to be a answer that everyones happy with.If there is to be a answer it lies in the modern-day, no longer in the previous.American and different Arab states intervention is exacerbating the subject and it relatively is time the two facets have been afforded a greater balanced help.because it stands u . s . of america pouring tens of millions in to Israel jointly as Palestinians go through abject poverty is barely going to extra anger all appropriate questioning human beings no longer in basic terms the Arab States.Israel needs to withdraw to the agreed borders and fix common human rights to Palestinians. Edit Rowan:Did every person surely ask the Palestinians!!!!!!

Let us see.

"Palestinians" are Arabs who migrated into the area over the last few hundred years. Jews are decendents from the Israelites and Canaanites who have occupied the land throughout all of recorded history, at least 3500 years.

I think that the answer is "no".

The Israelites were the first to build fortified cities on it, and to rule over it with a real government- something they did longer than anyone else.

The palestinians didnt even exist until fairly recently, before that they were just a bunch of nomadic people roaming around from one place to the next, warring against everyone and their brother.

It wasnt until Israel was wiped off the map by third parties that the palestinians even stepped in and picked up where they left off. They've never really "owned" it, theyve only just occupied it at times.

Ancient history, literally. Its fun reading though.

Um, no. It belonged to the Jews first, but because of disobedience to God, they were taken into captivity, into Babylon I think, then they were disbursed. Over 2000 years later, just like was predicted in the Bible, they got their land back. But, the radical left will tell you that it's "Christian Zionists" who are "self prophesying", meaning Christians are "making" Biblical prophecy come true, and it's not the Hand of God.
