Im thinking about buying either the new Nightwish or the new Within Temptation CD.
Which one should I get?

Go with the Nightwish. Everything I've heard from Within Temptation's new disc sounds like they're trying to be Evanescence now which is a shame because she's a far superior singer to Amy Lee.
People complain about Tarja and the operatic vocals being gone, but they were already moving in that direction on the previous album. There's only one song I don't like on the new album (For the Heart I Once Had) but it still sounds like Nightwish.

I like the new Nightwish cd, but I prefer Within Temptation's.

Im going to be honest with you. The new nightwish cd sucks! WIth their new singer and all, she has really screwed things up. I don't know if you've heard any of their new stuff, but in my opinion, I don't like it. Within Temptation is a great cd and it won't let you down. I would go with that one. Good luck!

I dont really like either.
Anette (new nightwish signer) only really performs well on a few songs. The really really messed up picking her... there's a reason she's 35 and didn't have a record contract.
Within temptation doesn't do it for me. She's a little too pop-ish in her voice.

i haven't heard the new nightwish stuff since annette joined. i want to hear within temptation but haven't got to yet. listen to both, then buy the one you like.

I actually like the new Nightwish CD.
No, she can't hold a candle to the original singer, but so what?
I'm actually going to see them live tomorrow because of that CD.
