Come of it , what do you think we are, nuts? The whole world knows that you are and have been for years, When did you last read about the atrosity that the Americans have been getting up to in Iraq. When did you last read about peolpe starving of hunger in the southern states? You say that you have the most free press in the world? You only say that because that is what you are being fed. We find it hard to believe that the people of America can believe all the garbage that your press is feeding you. Billions in aid to the starving? When and where? We read the American papers and cant believe what we read. Can you show us just one piece of proof that you have sent any aid to anyone? In Europe our population is five times what it is in America and without trade with us America would be finacially skint in less than a year? We notice that your press is keeping very quiet. We dont keep harping on about what we do for the rest of the world and yet we do a damm sight more ,

Everyone seems to think that they themselves are the most generous, the most enlightened, etc. etc.

Smugness is the enemy.

The US media is SELF-censored. It is gutless and incompetent and getting more so each day.

Most major news outlets in America get 90 percent !!! of their news from AP.

They aren't researching or digging out the news. They BUY it from AP and then spin it in the studio.

If you want real news, go to BBC or Al Jazerra TV. Both are pretty good. Russia Today isn't bad either. At least you'll get a "world view" and some other angles on things, to help you make up your own mind.

My point is that between US news, foreign news, etc. somewhere in the middle the truth might be.

This morning. An hey how about those CIA leaks reported in the New York Times. There's a censorship plan. LOL Have you even thought that MAYBE it's European news that is censored. It's the media that's run by the government isn't it?

PS: Can you give me one shred of proof not reported in your possibly censored media that the EU does more through Aid?

The press is censored. Just go online and look at foriegn news reports. It's not censored as to getting false info, but the press twist words and doesn't go as in depth.

My girlfriend was just over in Europe studying and came to realize we aren't even getting a taste of what is really happening in the Middle East. We are getting the childrens sugar coated version of the violence, death, and massacre that is going on over there. For some reason we need to be protected from what is happening.

they are censored by themselves by only printing or airing the parts of a story to shape it how they want, and reporting iby using comments of opinion as agenda setting.

Our media is so against our president that all they do is badmouth him, but there are other stories if you read the whole paper. I agree the media here isn't much to watch.

You have alot of ingorant people like Kann who have no idea what's going on in the world, and they feed off of it because it's what they want to here, so the media gives them more.

I don't believe that the press/media is censored in the USA. What I do believe is that the media is owned by liberals who spin everything they report!
