I have a mansford roof, and It is leaking near a seam. I dont wanna have to pull up all the shingles and replace the tar paper and everything. Is there any other option. As an FYI, I dont know exactly where the leak is coming from, but I have a general idea. What can I do?

I would try to find where it's coming from. Can you get into the space just under the roof, but above any finished living area? In an attic, maybe? Look for signs of water damage - stains, ice, etc - and follow it back uphill as far s you can go. Keep in mind that a drip can follow along a rafter quite a ways before it decides to fall off.

If you can't find anything, or if the shingles are old, curled, or worn, it might be time to call a roofer and do a complete new roof.
