What did the text say? If he's only friends with her, don't worry about it. I'm sure he didn't tell you about that hot waitress at the restaurant the other day either (hypothetically speaking).

Doesn't matter what the messages were; the fact that he kept it secret from you and she's not related to him or business related, what would be the purpose of the texting besides flirting?! He might not have sex with her yet, who knows but he's definitely cheating on you with her with his mind, time, affection and maybe even his heart. He might be having sex with the wife but fantasizing its the other girl, who knows. Interogate him about when and how long he's been texting her and what's his intentions with her? Review the past cellphone bills to see how often the texting has been going on. Check the long distance phone bills, credit card bills for suspicious purchases, hotels, etc. Check bank account for checks written and withdrawals. Doing detective work such as this will help to prove whether or not he's been honest in his confession. Take control of the money/finances. If you know how much money he makes and how much living expenditures are, you'll know when he's throwing money her way. Find out from cellphone carrier if texting msg can be retrieved for you to review. You may want to look into programs that monitor activities on the computer too. You're basically going to have to monitor his behavior online too for awhile. Go to marriage counseling asap. If he refuses to comply with your requests so that you can rest easy then you know he's up to no good.

Its a cold hard fact that some men will cheat on their wives, some will even have children outside of the marriage and take that secret to the grave. I pity the woman who one day has to go to her husband's funeral and there discovers that he had another woman and a bunch of children that she knew nothing about.

What was he texting her? Why didn't he tell you about her? How did they meet? The answers to those questions would say if he was cheating or not. Texting someone who's a female doesn't necessarily mean he's cheating. Ask him for more information about it, without trying to sound like you're accusing him of something. if it's bothering you he should listen and if your relationship is strong enough he should stop if you ask him too.

Honey you are stating 6 yrs 1 yr and 17 yrs like that is suppose to make a difference. Reality is if the man is texting another woman without your knowledge it COULD be something romantic there. And secondly you can't demand him to stop texting someone he likes. Obviously the thrill is gone between you to and you my dear will have to move on. It's not fair for him to drag on in a relationship he's not happy with and it's not fair for you to be with someone who isn't into you. If your gut is telling you something fishy is going on than go with your instinct. Meanwhile do you have kids etc. I'm asking because so many people are stuck in relationships that they don't want to be in instead of finding happiness. Keep an eye on him and follow your instincts. IT WON'T STEER YOU WRONG.

basically, it's wrong to text anyone of the opposite sex... ya, I'd consider it cheating... he should be communicating w/ you, not some chick who lives states away, and that's the plain and simple truth... doesn't matter what they were texting about... they should not be texting... at all... whether you know about it or not... good luck =) if he don't stop, I'd leave...

He has made up his mind that he wants to fool around, that is if he gets the chance to do so. I would not trust him in this state now. You need to talk to him and find out what he thinks about your relationship and if somethings bother him. That would confirm your hunch then it would be a good idea to get counselling.

Your husband is full of crap. If he did not think he was doing anything wrong then he would not hide it. 2. where did he find this woman since she lives in Florida. Is he on the net looking?

If it was me I would not waste my time, playing detective. I would spend that time packing his stuff and mailing them cod down to Florida.

I'm from the old school.....I believe anything you with another person do that you can't do in front of your spouse is a form of cheating.

This situation should bother you.....because he's hiding it.

if hes doing it behind your back i would say yes. Or did he run out of man friends to text? you should ask, maybe he is friends with all men around there and he doesn't have enough so now hes looking for females. i guess u can't have enough friends.

A good rule of thumb:

If you can't do/say something to a member of the opposite sex in your spouse's presence, then it's probably inappropriate and should be stopped immediately.
