You posted this in the rap section, so we can assume you are writing a rap song.
If its a rap song, you will need to keep it fairly simple. Also, don't put any positive messages in the song, it will make people upset. Think about the things that a normally responsible person would do, and write about the opposite. Sing about how you sell drugs and shoot at the police, but then complain because no one will give you a break, and its all someone else's fault. Oh, don't forget to mention about how society "owes" you something, and about how even though you cant figure out how to feed a family of four, you are somehow still very scary, and have the ability to get things done. And lastly, you have to mention your car. Its a rule.
Hope this helps !!!

Could do a powerful social commentary about the Jena 6, or the treatment of the poor in this country and the world. You could tackle the ongoing problems in New Orleans. The billions spent on the war rather than health insurance for kids. The plight of those in Dufar. The struggle to maintain who you are in a materialistic world.

Or you could go the commercial route and just talk about how much money you've got and the women you get, just depends on what you're goals are.

Really you should just write about what you know.

do not force musci.. if you dont know what your topic is or if you dont have any feelings dont write.. if you force music, chances are the music will be wack.. do not force yourself to write.. that shouldnt be like "hmmmm im going to think about something t write about".... NO! if you are walking down the street and you see a bum strugling and then a rich guy in a Benz next to him and not even look at him, then you automatically should have a feeling right?... like "how F*cked up, the rich guy looks down on the poor"... and then that feeling you get should stay with you and you can get the pen and paper and ponder on how to express your feelings in a dope creative touching way!. thats just an example.. all im a saying is if you have to think about what to write about.. you will fail.. dont force yourself to be a writer...

Wrong order. You have feelings or ideas, then you express them in songs or poetry. Quit thinking about writing a song. Think about what is important to you. What do you really care about. What do you feel very strongly about. Work that out -- then put it in a song.

The song that you write should come from your heart. It should be your feelings of maybe happiness and sadness. You should write about life expericence or something in that category.

Think about life experience's. Thing's you have been through, the good and the bad. What about a relationship ? Whether it ended bad or your still together.
All song's are, well the good one's anyway, are all inspired by life's journey's and experience's.
