Russian geese have been seen in the sky already - and the earlier they are seen, the worse the winter ahead. Wrap up warm!

It is very hard to predict several months ahead in the UK, mainly because we are caressed by about 5 major jetstreams so the weather cahnges so quickly. At a guess, I would say that this winter will go the same way as the previous twenty odd: milder than normal with some periods of heavy rainfall, and some periods of glorious 'continental' European sunshine.

There are gonna be some bad storms coming up apparently next week, middle of Nov, and end of Nov being the worst. So bad in fact it says the stormy conditions are gonna be the worst on record, which are gonna cause havoc. However fingers crossed in December, it could be a white Christmas!

I don't think it will be a white Christmas, I think it will be a rainy Christmas probably followed by a freezing cold nite to make it nice and slippery so the children can't play outside on thier new toys. My little ones have got roller skates so I'll be there wrapped up like a snowman holding an umbrella over them.

No, its surely been mentioned than Jan and Feb 2011 would be notably common in comparison to recent winters. heat air coming in from the west. So i doubt we are able to confirm the ten inches of snow we had this Jan. Thank god!
