Im a 46 year old man and have been married 22 years to a 41 year old woman i love very much. In my youth i was always slim! But in my late 30's early 40's i had no hair left and i started to gain weight, 50lbs actually. My wife used to say 'look im married to a middle-aged, fat, bald guy, im a lucky woman!'. I used to laugh this off and id say 'yeah and your my young beautiful mistress' and we'd kiss. But when i turned 43 i decided i wanted to get fit, I just felt very old and ugly and not sexy. So i joined a local footy club. I always liked footy and didnt care if i was in the c team! I made loads of new friends and was out drinkin with them all the time n lost weight! I felt great, my wife hated it and we just did or own things. One night i was out with boys (20's early 30's) they egged me on with this girl i was chattin to she was 19 and gorgeous. I asked her outside n we did it against the wall. I feel evil, dont know what todo, my wife seems2 hate me anyway! HELP?? i love my wife

The only suggestion I have for you is to take your wife into marriage counseling and bring the truth out there. You are going to need some help with this if you want your wife to know the truth and try to forgive you and stay in the marriage. Understand that this is going to hurt her deeply but the truth needs to come from you since others know about it. think about what preventative measures you are going to take to never allow this to happen again! I would start by having no more contact with this group of so called friends.Do not tell your wife the girl was gorgeous because your wife will have enough to deal with in her own self esteem at this point.Realize also that you broke the trust in your wife and things will never be the same. Give up drinking for your number one prevention measure and never do it again. I don't believe your wife hates you ..staying with you for 22 years. You have crossed a line and now you have to find your way back and honesty is the best start. I would first talk with a counselor alone before you involve your wife and let them direct you in what is best for everything concerned.

What's a footy?

You guys drifted apart, it's your fault and hers, you two didn't address it right away, you just kept on. Now, you've jumped from the frying pan into the fire having sex with a 19 year old.

Are you sure you heard your wife say, "I hate you, go have sex with anyone you want." By the way, even though you think she doesn't know about this, she will, eventually, these secrets have a way of coming out.

Tell her or not, either way, lose the 20-30 year old crowd, if you're serious about not wanting to destroy your marriage completely. Be prepared that she'll leave you anyway.

OK so you wanted to get fit and feel better about yourself. By doing this and not involving her you have alienated her and probably made her feel that you wanted something or someone else in your life. Then you started hanging out with a bunch of kids and drinking and spending time away from her. There is no doubt in my mind that all the time you spent with your little mates was hurting her and so she went to do her own thing. Then you went and "F****D some little skank at the pub. That was sheer genius! Your little mates may have egged you on but YOU made to choice to do it. YOU have put your marriage in the toilet. You had better hope and pray that girl doesn't end up pregnant. You need to seek counseling and beg your wife for forgiveness. Good luck

Seems like your priorities changed once you decided you didn't want to be old and fat anymore. You love your wife, and need to do this for you and her. Instead you went out, got fit, made new, young and immature friends. Your wife's feelings and family time were shot out the window. A19 yr old? Oh please..... You need to sit down, think about life, what you want, and set your priorities straight. You don't need to be hanging around 20 yr old's. Talk to your wife immediately on everything, tell her all the happenings/ feelings since joining the club and what you truly want. You need to be sincere in your words with her, and seriously change your ways. She'd rather have a fat old man as a loving husband, than one who thinks there a fit stud-muffin that doesn't give 2 craps about her.

Truthfully....from the gut here.....If I had a husband that I had been married to and faithful to for 22 years. Went through the fat bald guy phase and love him unconditionally....did you ever say that this statement hit below the belt? and then had to live through the phase where he was never around after he fixed the fat thing......then I were to find out he did it on a wall with a 19 year old bimbo....I would knock him out cold...and when he came to...I would do it again. I would find this whole thing unbearable and I would be angry, very angry for an undisclosed amount of time...I may even let it work me up to the point where I kicked him out...probably would do this....and would never speak to him again about anything other than our children. This is me....she is who she is....so I don't know what she is going to do.....I would be plenty put out with you though.

19 is too young you can be charged with statutory rape. another if your wife doesn't love you fucckk her and move on. she shouldn't be saying those things to you in the first place. i would leave her and enjoy the rest of my life if i were you. why stay with someone who doesn't appreciate you????? Move on do you have any children? If not there is NO EXCUSE. Marriage is suppose to be a HAPPY REUNION. She sounds like she is in it for the $$$$ and comfort. Later for her, I'm a woman and i am on your side except for the kids (19yrs is too young ) you are 27 yrs older than her. wait until she is 27 you will be 54. Wow, you are a sugar daddy. and she will be a trophy. unless this is a soulmate thing, hang it up and move on.

It appears your goal to get fit went to the extreme. You were looking to look and feel young again and went about it in a very damaging way to your marriage. If you really love your wife, then get your life back on the right track. Never tell her about this other girl, and from here on be a faithful loving husband who joins a gym to work out with his wife.

It depends. Does she know? And who knows that could tell her? It would be better coming from you. And did you use a condom? If not, you should get yourself tested, and NOT infect her unintentianally. Because is you do, she will hate you. You say she seems to hate you anyway - seems like you are trying to look for excuses for a thing you did that is not right. The only thing I would like to say is if you really loved her, you would not have cheated on her. It is very difficult for a woman to forgive that, and to trust again seems impossible. And without trust, love does not matter.

WOW......what an imagination you have there. You are an old man and even thinking of doing a 19 year old is sickening. She is barely legal and the fact that she "did you against a building" is laughable.

IF by any chance you are telling the truth, that 1 in 100,000,000 chance, your wife should lose all faith in you. You betrayed her in the worst way and have no dignity or guidelines.

You should have never cheated on your wife. She may forgive you but don't hold your breath. After being married for 22 years I guess you wanted to try something new that wasn't worth the time.
