Why cant I hear voices on "My Name is Earl" when I record it on DVR?

This is the second time this has happend when I record this particular show. I can hear the music but not the voices through the entire episode.

A little troubleshooting's in order...try fiddling with your audio settings. What you describe might have to do with either the audio settings (like having it on SAP by accident) on your PVR or your local NBC station's audio mix.

Experiment with the audio settings when you tune in to your local NBC affiliate to figure out which one to use when "My Name Is Earl" is on.
