If you could have your choice of any musician to bring here to our little section to both ask and answer questions, who would you choose?

Any member of Fall Out Boy/My Chemical Romance.
I don't by any means condone bullying, but... hehe.

Edit: rocket queen - It seems so. We were both "Rocket Queen" at one point too. Strange minds think alike.

Edit: Sookie - I give them an hour before running away from their screens in tears.. we can be pretty harsh about those two bands. Such fun, hehe.

It's OK, I knew the "you" was there in spirit. Unfortunately, the best choices of all the artists probably wouldn't last long here as they would likely get violated or suspended for mostly nothing. Still Trent Reznor would take no prisoners and wouldn't suffer fools or inane emo love for very long. Of course if he were too busy I have back up choices.

Henry Rollins
Ian MacKaye - now that we know he wasn't run over by a car.
Perry Farrell
Kat Bjelland
Lydia Lunch

Sookie - My theory is a fan started that rumor just to make sure he was OK and to stir him back into the recording studio.

Bettie - I know exactly what you would ask Henry if given the chance, LOL. And I still don't know the answer.

I think my favorite choices have already been taken. Rollins and MacKaye would be great choices. I know it's my stock answer for pretty much anything rock, but Steve Malkmus is so schmarmy and sarcastic that I imagine he would be a great contributer. Kool Keith would be fun, that dude is totally random.

And of course 90s SUPer GRoup Color Me Bad! Their records start at my brain...but end at my soul.

They do have vocal chords rivaled only by the sirens of yor... or is it yesteryear?

Currently, Bruce Springsteen. His new cd is very good, plus he has a history of hardship and success.

Dave Grohl, especially if he would open up about Nirvana and the insane Courtney Love.

Not to be funny, but having either Pete Wentz or Gerard Way would guarantee a large response!

Ozzy Osbourne would be fun lol and certain people wouldn't dare report him since he is a Celebrity.
David Bowie and Robert Smith of The Cure.
I agree with Trent Reznor too, brilliant guy.

Last Edit: Maynard James Keenan would be very interesting as well.

The first person that came to mind was Rob Zombie. He comes across as pretty laid back and intelligent in his interviews so I can only imagine that he would really contribute some great questions and answers here.

Another that might be entertaining - Beck. He seems to see and hear stuff I can only dream about.

Dee Snyder would be good. In your face, funny, and has smarts. I still chuckle at his off the cuff answers when he appeard before congress. He and Zappa taught'em musicians are alot more savy than they thought.

I only know this: if Paul Stanley started answering in R&P, we'd never see Deke again in the Religion and Spirituality section.

John Doe, to see what he thinks...
Exene, because I'm quite sure she's insane now...
Henry Rollins, for a giggle...
Mike Patton, because I hear he's an ***...

Edit: l&r, what, you think I would get all personal on him? *grin*
Sook, I don't think she's necessarily insane in a BAD way, you know? It might be in a fun way...
