You can twitch your noise and the whole house is clean...like Samantha from Bewitched.

I can't answer for everyone, but I know I am a witch because I practice witchcraft. I am not Wiccan. Anyone can be a witch, just as anyone can be a Christian. If you want to be a witch then you will do a lot of reading and studying. It does come naturally to some, but we are actually in the minority. If you can put your faith in nature, not man, and accept that the earth is made of many types of natural energy and you want to learn to use that energy for positive things then you might be able to become a witch. It is not instant and it is not fantasy like Harry Potter and Charmed. Witches are normal people with the ability to tune in to nature, who have learned what herbs do what, how everything in nature is related. Above al you must be able to live by the following (short version) "Do as thou will and in it harm none" that includes harm to ones self. We do not abuse our bodies very few witches smoke and do not drink to get drunk. We like to be able to stay 100% in control of ourselves.

If you are a witch, you practice the art or religion of Witchcraft.
I was raised in a very Christian home, parochial schools, Christian University....I have a minor in Christian Religion.
BUT, often things happened...the earliest I remember was in 5th grade, I was able to control things around me at times...at first I did it unknowingly, then I made an effort and it worked then too. But always in the back of my mind was what I'd been taught that it was "evil", yet it wasn't always something I did "on purpose"...I didn't hurt anyone, often helped others, finally I realized that what I had been TAUGHT, wasn't really all that realistic or believable to me. So I did what the preacher had always said...I studied, not just the religion I was raised in, but many others...some that proclaimed Christ, some that didn't.
Then I got past the "it's evil" and also began to study Witchcraft...THEN many things that had never made sense, started making perfect sense. So I studied more, and have never stopped (and yes I still study other religions too), I found that the religion that matched my spirit was Witchcraft, the beliefs and creeds. I became much more at peace with myself then, I had found where my soul belonged, I found the religion that spoke to my heart and that made everything in my life clear. I found that I am a Witch, that I'm proud to be a Witch and I hope that everyone in the world is as comfortable in their religion as I am in mine. I just wish there were more religions, like mine, that didn't spend most of their time judging others beliefs and just spent time practicing theirs and following their heart. The USA was originally sought so that people could practice FREEDOM of religion, I wish others respected that freedom and instead of judging those who believe different than them they would just respect them for their differences.
Brightest of Blessings!

Do you practice witchcraft? If no, then you're not a witch. Simple.
Oh, and not all witches are Wiccan. And not all Wiccans are witches. http://www.witchvox.com http://www.religioustolerance.org/witchcra.htm

Depends on whether you mean a Wiccan or a mystic who can alter the energy around them. They aren't necessarily the same thing.
