What is dark? It is the absence of light so in effect is not anything at all so it cannot be measured. However, if you think of a beam of light being shone out into space - this will travel at the speed of light ( 3 x 10^8 m/s in a vaccuum). If the beam is then switched off at the source, the light will still be travelling into space with nothing to stop it and it will be followed by darkness - which will be following at the same speed - so is that the speed of darkness - you decide!.

I think this is a very interesting question. I do not know the answer and don't know anything much about science but I would guess it would be the same as the speed of light? I hope someone submits the correct answer to this question.

If there exists a substance in the volume of Space that is Dark and we cannot see it it means that it cannot be shadowed. hence it is invisible (Dark).
Therefore we cannot visually determine its velocity if its in motion. Most likely, It is a substance that is slippery but has no motion of its own except compression and deformation.
So the Substance of the Dark was once called Aether . Now its called Dark matter. And we have no way of understanding its structure except ,it must be the substance responsible for causing motion of masses and micromasses such as Light.

Dark has no measurable speed, it is the absence of information. Darkness is constant, the light is disturbance of darkness and you are viewing the disturbance. As soon as the light has passed the Darkness returns to its initial state.

SCIENTISTS ARE WORKING FEVERISHLY TO DEVELOP EXOTIC NEW INSTUMENTATION WITH
WHICH TO MEASURE THE ACTUAL SPEED AND ENERGY LEVEL OF DARK. WHILE SUCH
INSTUMENTATION IS BEYOND THE CAPABILITIES OF THE AVERAGE LAYMAN, YOU CAN
ACTUALLY PERFORM A TEST TO DEMONSTRATE THE UNBELIEVABLE SPEED OF DARK,
RIGHT IN YOUR OWN HOME. ALL THAT IS REQUIRED FOR THE SIMPLE TEST IS A CLOSED
DESK DRAWER SITUATED IN A BRIGHT ROOM. YOU KNOW FROM PAST EXPERIENCE THAT
THE TIGHTLY SHUT DRAWER IS FULL OF DARK. NOW, PLACE YOUR HAND FIRMLY ON
THE DRAWER'S HANDLE. QUICKLY YANK THE DRAWER OPEN.. THE DARK IMMEDIATELY
DISAPPEARS, DEMONSTRATING THE BLINDING SPEED WITH WHICH THE DARK TRAVELS
TO THE NEAREST DARKSUCKER!

In the absence of light ...darkness. shadows reveal .. its dark..IF the speed of light is 186000 miles per second, and the action is almost or is really simultaneous...then it is the same.

There is no speed. It is too dark to see how fast you may go.
