The Lebanese didn't really invent the Christmas tree.
Christmas was not named as a holiday until centuries after Christ was born. The cultural practice of cutting down trees and decorating them was a practice of non-Judaical cultures long before Christ was ever born, let alone before Christmas ever became a holiday.
As far as an exact year - I don't know that can be determined. However, this practice is directly referred to in the Bible, in the book of Jeremiah (10:2-4). That book was written somewhere between 630 B.C. and 580 B.C. So I think it's safe to say the practice of cutting down trees, taking them into our homes, and decorating them has been around for at least 2500 years.

If she did no longer see it it did no longer exsist sort factor. Then the subsequent yearshe litterally spun the tree around protecting garland in her mouth and working away with it. She rips up the provides so we cant placed them out till yule eve. She bats on the embellishes and makes them fall in the event that they're too extreme to attain she will have the skill to FN climb for them. i like her shes purely like a baby. There hasn't been no longer something i ought to do. final year she ate my roomates ribbons off the presents while i became long gone. and had green purple and silver shards of vivid plastic in her poop. they'll do as they please. good good fortune having a baby around for yule.

Many Pagan cultures, used to cut boughs of evergreen trees anddecorate the inside of their homes, in honour of the mid winter solstice. Dec 20-23.
Ancient Egyptians, had palm trees, symbolizing resurection, and decorated their homes with the palm fronds. during the mid winter solstice.
The first decorating of the evergreen tree began with the heathen greeks, and their worship of the god Adonia, who was allegedly brought back to life by the serpant Aessulapius after being slain.
The ancient roman pagans, decorated their trees with bits of metal, and replicas of their god Baccus, (A fertility god), They also placed 12 lighted candles on it to represent their sun god, in celebration of their midwinter festval Saturnella Dec. 17 til just after the solstice.
In northern europe, germanic people tied dried fruit and attached candles also to evergreen tree branches, in honour of their god Woden, the trees symbolized eternal life, this is the god that the day wednesday is also named for. The trees joined the yule log, wassil bowl, holly and mistletoe as symbols of the season, and they all pre date christianity.
It wasn't until it reached the america's, that it was brought inside and decorated. Interesting initself, is how the church tried to stamp out the use of the tree and christmas itelf as being pagan in nature, they origionally wanted nothing to do with it.
Sorry, couldn't find anything about the Lebanese having anything to do with the christmas tree.
