I'm no Senior (35) but my vote goes for Tom Mix

He has a great name

and what about that line at the end of Tombstone, voiced by Robert Mitchum about Wyatt Earp's funeral:

"... Tom Mix wept"

It was a great piece of the film that most people probably ignored

I remember my dad liking Tom Mix.
My favourites were Rex Allan, RoyRogers ,Hopalong Cassidy and Lash La Rue

I would have to chose tom mix I live in the last town he performed in My mother was at the crash side the evening he was killed but did not know it was him till the next day.She lived in a old house about a 1/4 mile from the car wreck.Tom mix was her hero

Tom Mix was O.K., Lash Larue, Hopalong Cassidy and Gene Autry were higher on my list though.
