Mop it down, clean out the microwave really well, spray freebreeze. spray the freebreeze on the close that will help big time! I recomend the orange or grape kind! they really freshen the room!Mop the kitchen really well! Clean like everything! I think it helps. My sister did the same thing! You might want to think about getting pinesall!Take out the trash so the smell of whatever he burnt doesnt stink it up even more! It smells great! You want to get things that you both like the smell of because if you scrub down the whole house this smell will be there for a long time!I wish you good luck and I hope I helped! ♥

Open the doors and windows, turn on the fans and get a breeze moving around the house. Put some open containers of Bicarbonate of Soda around the places where the smell is worst (wipe out the microwave with bicarb in hot water). Sprinkle bicarb onto the carpet and leave it for a couple of days (totally harmless to animals and people) the vaccuum.

bicarb is one of the best odour absorbing compounds around. If there's still a smell, then I'd suggest doing it again, but also look at burning some lemon essential oil to freshen the house.

Clean the microwave with lysol. That's the source of the smell.

Open windows and doors to let in natural air and let the stale, burnt smell outta the house.

Other than, tackling the source of the problem and a good cross ventilation, what else is there to do? Once you are satisfied the small is down to a comfortable level, use a good air freshner on the sofas and surfaces to eradicate the remaining molecules that could've settled elsewhere. With the AC on, give it some time and you'll be fine.

use a bowl that is microwave safe, add some apple cider vinager with water, place into microwave. turn on microwave for 5 minutes and then let it set. it will clean the microwave and absorb the odor.

your cloths, if they smell like the burnt smell after you do the microwave... then you will need to wash them and the bedding.

Open your windows and alow your house to air out. Also, clean your oven or whatever appliance was used to cook (burn) the pizza. Burnming candles and using Febreeze will also make a big difference. Take out the garbage if the burnt pizza is still in your house.

Get yourself and ioniser, set that up, it should help. You could also get an essential oil burner and set that up too, you'll need the oils and little candles, but it will help a lot.

Your clothes? Maybe not, it depends on whether the cupboards were open or not.

Get out the instruction manual for your microwave and make sure your husband reads it. Or better, get him a simple cookbook.

I remember burning pop corn and that is the worse smell that is out that is burnt in my opition.

You can open the windows(depending on weather in area).
You also try the paint trick and that is to set a buck or pal of fresh clean wather in the ceter of the room to elimatite the smell(not sure it works for burnt smells) but paint issues yes.
The clothes i am not sure its up to you on that one.

Open all windows/doors for an hour or so. Switch on the air-ventilator for sometime (circulation) and spray something smelling good. Burn an incense or an aroma candle.
