I don't know, I think there were quite a few unanswered questions. Did Harry every become an auror like he wanted to? Maybe I didn't catch it but who was the new headmaster at Hogwarts? Just little stuff like that.

I think he became Harry's house-elf because in the last book Kreacher was so pleased to Harry for giving him his master's locket.
But you can wait for Rowling's "Harry Potter encyclopedia"!
She told BBC that she will mention all of the things that are not that much clear in the last book.

Well, maybe he works in the Hogwarts' kitchens. You know, where house-elves works or maybe he died because of old age. And yeah, I agree, maybe he became the House-elf of the Potters.:p

i believe kreacher died, i remember reading it mugglenet and hpana, in one of jk's interviews.
the new headmaster, well, headmistress, is minerva mcgonagall
harry became an auror, along with ron.
