A baby boomer is a person born between 1945 and 1965 in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, or Australia. Following World War II, these countries experienced an unusual spike in birth rates, a phenomenon commonly known as the baby boom.

Hello Molly SH,
Baby Boomers were born around 1945 -1965 ish. In reality the actual dates will vary as with many things different people will have a different view but the dates above are generally accepted as the norm.
Pay a visit to http://www.cafebabyboomers.com/ this is a website just for this generation. They also have a blog and forum so if you are looking for more information this would be an excellent place to find it.

Hi, I'm currently studying that right now! Baby Boomers were born from 1945 up to the early 1960s.

I was born in a baby boom year 1968
My daughter was also born in one 1990
I think the most famous one was 1946 as so many men returned from the war.

1946-1960, I think. Basically, in that range where you could reasonably be a child of a WW2 vet.

50s and 60s.
Because the people whose parents were alive and getting it on in WWII are baby boomers.
When all the men came back from war they started big families.
