No.

The government has way too much to worry about other than sexual orientation.

You should give your pastor the boot.
That is a distraction.
Hollywood, the anti-Christian anti-Western Zionist mainstream media, the Israel lobby in Washington, PC social engineers and academics are the biggest threats!!!
Those are the folks that are trying to make it a hate crime to criticize homosexuals...and you could get the charged just by being perceived by the "gay victim" to be offensive.
Yet I am willing to bet money that your pastor wants to sell you down the river AGAIN by telling you to vote for some neoconservative jerk like Guiliani, Romney, Huckabee, or McCain. They won't do a DAMN THING to fight for a real Christian social and cultural fightback in America.
Wake up!
Go for the man who has lived an exemplary Christian life and will give you the Constitution and your rights back---RON PAUL!

The threat to national security is when you make special laws for people based on their sexual choices. It is already illegal to beat someone up. it is illegal to rob someone It is illegal to kill someone. There is no reason to have other laws who do these same things to people because they are GAY. Your pastor is right about (bears) being number 1 they are soft on homeland security they don't want to deal with issues abroad. They want to get rid of our military. They want to cut out any research on future military projects. If we were all (bears) we would sit in a big circle, Hold hands and sing kumb-by yaah. While the other countries walked in and shot us.

For the sake of argument, assuming it's a genetic malfunction or something, what business would the federal government have curing it? The government ought to get its fingers out of everybody's business and govern, not run or fund medical research, so I would say your pastor is wrong on many levels.

The biggest threat to National Security must be the fearsome spotted owl. It is responsible for many gruesome death of innocent young American mice.

Homosexuality is not a disease to be cured. People like your pastor (and you, if you buy into his crap) make me sick. He does not represent God in any way. Do your self a favor and suggest to him that he and his congregation do a Jim Jones. !!!!!!!

Yes well he has the same views as the President of Iran maybe he would like to go and live there and experience some prejudice for himself because I don't think they like Pastors over there either.

This isn't the job of the gvmt.

Your pastor is free to teach to these people and convert them if he thinks he can.

Your pastor needs to find the cure to bigotry. When he finds that please share it with the rest of the world.

You should love one another as you love yourself.

We all breathe the same air, we all cherish our children's future and we are all mortal.

Your pastor needs to get out more.

You can't "cure" homosexuality.
