younger men = approx. age 20 to mid 30's
older men = approx. age late 30's to late 40's

not trying to exclude the 50+ men but I'm mainly curious about the maturity levels between these age ranges.

how mature do you consider yourself to be? how mature do you see other men to be in your personal experiences/observations,etc?
explain.thanks.

it was just a harmless survey.I didn't state that I think older men are more mature or younger men are more immature or vice versa.I think older eccentric semi-mature men are hot, especially jack sparrow ♥ lol

I don't think it is a matter of maturity. I know men in both age categories that are very immature and in both categories that are very mature. I think it is a matter of wisdom. Older men have had many more experiences that make them much wiser; however, what one does with that wisdom is another matter, i.e. allow it to mature them. The only other issue that would make men in the first category less likely to be mature is that the frontal lobe does not fully develop until about the age of 25; therefore male or female, 25 and younger are more likely to make stupid mistakes or bad decisions. That is why car insurance goes down after the age of 25.

Not much, honestly. I find that if they are not mature by 30, they will not be mature at 40, 50 or 80. Some men regress as they get older and hit the "midlife" panic (as do some women) and are no longer able to look in the mirror and ignore the spare tire and the bald spot, so they think a spot of infantile behavior will somehow "hide" it.

Maturity is not about age. It's about how a person conducts themself. Some 20 year olds are very mature for their age and some 40 year olds are very immature. I don't think you can stereotype men in this way any more than you can say that all blondes are dumb. I am mature - like a good wine- getting better with age - but there is still a child inside me that likes to play.

Maturity of mind does not come with advancing age. It comes from wisdom and experience in life. I have met 20 years old well matured as well as 60 plus persons lacking mental maturity very badly. I found them with one years experience repeated for 40 or 50 years, with no fresh additions.Whether I am mature or not is a matter to be considered by others and not me.

I understand, you just asked because you were curious and then get picked apart.
Let me stereotype for a minute. I guess MOST guys start to become mature at age 25, That is the age when guys start to realize that life isn't all that easy and they do not have all of the answers.

Men mature at a more linear rate than women. Young, attractive women who aren't taken are usually extremely immature, but the same cannot be said of men.
Maturity about money is one of the most clear differences with older men. They tend to make more and manage what they have better. But, many men want to be players all the way into their 50s.

Well with age comes wisdom so just look at it like that. Then again all people are different.
