Yes! We should have government for protection. A good example would be: the government has no right to regulate or in any way interfere with health care plans.
There are a lot of areas today in government that should be run by the private sector.
We have a strong nation, and with too much government involvement weakens the economy, individual intiative, and responsibility.
Let the government do what is intended to and we will do what we should do a free citizens in a free country are supposed to do.

Yes, too bad the government doesn't live up to it. Liberals won't agree that it's a true statement, since they want free health care, welfare, and housing from the government. Those 3 things are the responsibility of an individual person. The word responsibility is an evil word to a Lib.

It is what government should be doing. However, in the US we have way too many social programs run by the federal government.
